Ride to Remember 2014
Posted On June 7, 2014
We went on the Ride to Remember tribute to Officer Michael Crawshaw, who was ambushed and killed in Penn Hills, PA.
500+ motorcycles left from Penn Hills Middle School, passing the spot where he was killed, the Fallen Officer monument on the North Side (you should hear 500 bikes under all those bridges; it’s like hearing God’s Harley!), and his gravesite on the way to Three Rivers HD.

We went on a couple benefit rides that year. I think it was this one where we were on the local TV news broadcast. Benefit rides are all well and good, especially if they benefit a cause I strongly support. However, I tend to get bored with being part of a great mass of bikes tooling along at a sedate pace pretty quickly. The other thing is that they tend to be really, really heavy on straight pipe Hardly Ablesons and we all know how much importance those guys place on being LOUD. All that farting and blatting and throttle blipping wears on my nerves, even through a helmet.
